PAGE 34 compound adjectives

1. How do we form compound adjectives?

By taking 2 adjectives, writing a hyphen (-) between them and adding –ed to the second adjective.

2. What are the opposites of the adjectives?

Broad-shouldered -> Narrow-shouldered.

Long-legged -> short-legged.

Narrow-minded -> open-minded.
